FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ARE THE ITEMS LISTED ON THE WEBSITE AUTHENTIC POLITICAL MEMORABILIA?

All items listed are guaranteed to be authentic. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the merchandise or condition listed, you may return them for a money back guarantee.

WHAT NUMBERING SYSTEM IS USED TO DESCRIBE THE BUTTONS?

The numbering system used is from the ENCYCLOPEDIA OF POLITICAL BUTTONS BOOK I, II, III. By Ted Hake. It is a universal numbering system and is used throughout the hobby. If the item is not listed in the Encyclopedia, I will use my own numbering system and indicate that in the description.

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE YOUR PRICES?

Prices are determined by the various sales lists and auction values in the hobby. We try to be as fair as possible in pricing the items offered. All of my items are excellent to mint. Sometimes they demand a higher price because of their condition.

THE AMERICAN POLITICAL ITEMS COLLECTORS (APIC)

The American Political Items Collectors (APIC), is the only national organization designed for collectors of political memorabilia. Benefits of membership include a subscription to a quarterly magazine called The Keynoter and a monthly newspaper called The Political Bandwagon.

APIC is a friendly group. Collectors enjoy exchanging information, doing research, sharing what they find and arranging trades with their fellow collectors. Best of all, the APIC is a community of trust. If you buy, sell, or trade with an APIC member, you know you will not be cheated. APIC does not tolerate members who are dishonest in their business transactions.

For a pamphlet describing APIC membership, and a membership application, please email us and ask for one. Or if you prefer you could send your request via US mail:
